Wow, do I know some people who'd disagree with you on everything you said, but that's a bit more than I want to touch atm. to answer your question about shogun 2 potentially feeling old as it was released earlier it actually has far better graphics than rome 2 both in-battle and on the campaign map so it feels much newer than rome 2 imo )
samurai! its the best game in the series imo and quite the contrast to rome 2 with all of its bugs and glitches although rome 2 HAS been improved ALOT over the past year i still recommend shogun 2 as its also my favourite historical setting hope this helped :) ps. Originally posted by OBRkenobi:shogun 2 is commonly acceptive as the most poslished and historically/culturally immersive game in the tw series and i mean come on. I've been reading some reviews, but i still don't know much about the series so i apoligize for any stupid questions or likely, thanks for your time! I'm curious if you'd say that it would be a problem for me in Shogun 2 since its from 2011, or if you think the game can still easily be played today and feel fairly new? This question is the main reason i haven't just grabbed it straight away, because it really means alot to me whenever i'm playing. In almost every case i get bored or annoyed fast by older games for various reasons. Last off i'm also trying to avoid the game feeling "too old". I've seen a bunch of critics on Rome 2, but i can't figure out if these are actually big problems that ruins the game, or if it's pretty much details that you only pay attention to if you're a hardcore Total War fan? I don't have any experience with the series at this moment, so first off i have some questions.Īs i'm new at the Total War series i'd like to hear what game you'd say is the easiest to start off with? Takeda was ultimately defeated but, as in all Total War battles, victory lies in your hands and by playing one of these three factions you can repeat history. The Battle of Nagashino (historical scenario) saw an alliance between the Oda and Tokugawa clans clashing against the legendary Takeda clan in 1575.It includes the most powerful battlefield ninja units. This additional in-game faction is available for use in single or multiplayer Campaign modes and Custom and Multiplayer Battles. The Hattori clan are masters of the Iga-ryu ninjutsu - a unique collection of martial skills and guerrilla techniques. The Hattori Clan Pack includes all four unlocks previously only available in the Total War: SHOGUN 2 Limited Edition.
